Ushers & Nurses

Ushers & Nurses

Overview

Mission: The Ushers and Nurses Ministry operates in a cohesive manner to care for the congregation. The mission of the Ushers/Nurses Ministry is to provide a caring presence, a listening ear, and spiritual support to the congregation. The ushers serve as doorkeepers in the church and provide the first positive interactions with members and visitors to show that they are welcome in the House of the Lord. In welcoming people into God’s house and assisting and directing people during worship, the ushers are ministering angels serving all who enter in. In addition, the nurses are readily available to address the medical/physical needs of the congregation.

When: Adults meet 3rd Tuesday at 6pp

Leaders (Adult Ushers/Nurses): Mary Bagley and Diane Parker (admin@shilohbchartford.com)

Scripture: “…I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than live in the tents of wickedness.” Psalm 84:10b
